Questions and comments should be directed to the dev catagoryin the FoldingText support forums. If you are using the foldingtexttaxonomy, then you can also use the -modesoption to signal what modes should be parsed. I made it work with a handfull of packages for the atom writer, which originally made for programming, but it makes me freaking out, because I can't get it's hackable/flexibility style out of the way. The default taxonomy is foldingtext, but you can also parse the text as taskpaperor markdownformat. So I'm desperately looking for a plain text outliner kinda thing that's simple and handy to use. Unfortunately this app is no longer in development and I figured out that longer notes are causing problems. It’s my next stab at a plain text productivity. I used to open noteplan notes via Folding Text (from the creator of taskpaper) which does exactly what I'm asking for: outline view (folding) on the frontend, but dealing with plain text files. It takes what I’ve learned building TaskPaper and tries to keep the good stuff, fix the mistakes, and make it more flexible. But just to get a structured view on notes. There's no need to have it represented in the file that should stay plain text. I would love to have the possibility to fold/collapse nested lines, wether it's a list or to do.
